#006 Junya-san

I was in such desperate need of a new pair of good quality, long lasting brogue. Since my Hudsons were falling apart and I can literally see something come apart every single time I wear it out, a good pair of brogues is well overdue. I always somehow find myself looking and lusting over good brogues but since I never got to buying them, my friends and even myself always thought I have like 5000 pair of black leather brogues. Just the other day I was packing/looking/going through my shoe closet and I realized I only have 2 brogues. And only one is black. Such a dire situation for my everything-is-the-same-as-the-other-but-I-just-mix-and-match-'em-so-they-look-different wardrobe. I really do still wanna keep my Hudsons a little longer and while I will be sending them to the cobbler for some patching up, the time for new brogues is here.

I do realize my room is such an ugly place to attempt to take "high class artistic" photos. Obviously my shoes deserve better. They gave me horrible blisters. But I think half the reason why they hurt so bad was that I went shopping with my dad the first day I wore them and my dad walks even faster than I do. It was a horror walk. Also they only came in 37.5 which is a .5 size bigger than my size, which is why them blisters aren't any surprise, honestly. I would have to get insoles and wear them more often to soften the leather (which is really stiff btw) but I think we are all good. They are so gorgeous and structured I really cannot stop looking at them! Junya-san does it best. Ironically I have so much stuff from Commes des Garcons I don't even know how that happened. I don't have a single thing from Yohji and it's my favorite label of all time!!
